    Research and Academic Expertise

As an academic and professional with diverse international education and professional experience, Professor Adžić is highly qualified in the fields of leadership, management, and marketing. His ability to effectively teach these disciplines is further strengthened by his personal leadership experience, having held executive roles as both president and chief executive officer in the public and private sectors.

Many academics lack direct insight into the real expectations of business leaders. However, as both a researcher and an experienced practitioner who has managed thousands of employees, Professor Adžić possesses this unique perspective. Few leadership theories analyze leadership from the standpoint of a chief executive officer, yet this is precisely the perspective from which he studies leadership.

Another key area of his research is strategic management. He critically evaluates management theories that may appear academically well-founded but lack practical applicability. One example is the concept of the learning organization, which he has analyzed as a transient management trend.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he conducted research on its impact on national economies and business operations, contributing to contemporary business research.

After attaining the rank of Full Professor, he expanded his research focus to new areas. His current research interests include the application of structural equation modeling in marketing, particularly CB-SEM and PLS-SEM approaches. His experience with doctoral studies, combined with a large body of methodologically diverse publications, makes Professor Adžić highly competent in the field of research methodology.
